Promedia 2.1 - Satellites work fine, subwoofer dead

I've been trying to find the answer here but I've met with little luck. Out of nowhere my sub has decided to stop working. I played with the subwoofer know on the control pod to no effect. I took the fuse out of the back and it looks OK, but I'm not 100% sure how to tell. I could really use some help. I've only had this unit for about a month (Ebay purchase) and I love everything about it so I would like to get it back up and running. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
