anytime man...I just said screw it and went at it hoping I was right.

Well, I have had the issue I think everyone has has had with this speaker system; the control pod failing. But yet when I search the interwebs for answers I see nothing with pictures to help people out; so here it is. Buy that new control pod here Things to do before you even start: Unplug the power from your unit Remove the cable and wires from the sub Tools needed: 1 #2 phillips screwdriver (Seriously that's it) Step #1 Locate the Base Screw Now that you found it, grab that kick a$$ #2 screwdriver and take it out. (NOTE: Be firm with your pressure when taking this screw out the first time as they used a threading glue, it will break free with no stripping) Step #2 Removing the base after getting the pesky screw out The base will slide out towards the back of the speaker with very little effort. (Note: DO NOT LOSE THIS SCREW) Step #3 Removing the dreaded control pod Take your killer #2 screwdriver, put the speaker on a towel or something soft so you don't mar the back of the speaker. With nice firm taps on the left and right side of the control pod, you will start to see it slip down the unit. (NOTE: Do not beat the crap out of it, just firm taps, I did 2 per side and it came out in 5 seconds) Step #4 If you did it correctly, you will be able to crack open a beer and bask in the glory that you finally did it. Final, here is what you should be left with in the end To put this back together is simple, just reverse these above steps; and you only need the screwdriver to put the screw back in. Enjoy
