Go with the Logitech Z-560's I wish I had

It's still present when the computer is off.. It's not that noticable, but it would be nice if it was gone.. -Ayalan

While the control pod is powered off, there is a pretty loud hiss/static sound from the rear left channel, and when it's powered on the hiss remains on that channel, and it also present on the rear right channel. Anyone else have this problem, or have an idea for a solution? I've moved the speakers around and they're fine on the front channels, it's just the rear.. I've tested the wires and they're fine too; so it seems like a problem with the pre-amp. *sighs*

Greetings: I just got my 4.1s a few days ago and so far I'm happy--my question is where should I place the subwoofer for optimal performance? It's currently located under my desk, but I've heard some people say that placing it in a corner would work best. I'm going to try to attach a *.jpg of the general layout of the room they're in. The brown thing is the desk, the red things are the satellites, the YELLOW thing is the subwoofer which is actually UNDER the desk. The gray thing is where I sit, and the white thing is the monitor. Any suggestions? Thanks, -Chad
