Awesome delivery offer too. I always prefer to drive than risk shipping (both buying and selling).

Beautiful and consecutive! Very impressive looking and I am sure sounding.

Very nice walnut Klipsch Forte II, one of my favorites.
GLWS.

The tweeters are alnico, so they are likely AA crossovers (which are desirable).
The AL crossovers (early 1980s) are not considered desirable. My La Scala with AL crossovers sound good to me.

Worth $400 or $450?
That is a decent price for them in good condition.
With the right song, the bass is surprisingly good.

I have never found the labels to affect the sound in the slightest. 🙂
I will be going to AXPONA next month and likely won't hear many speakers there for less than $2000 that will sound better than the those Forte.
The $700 is a little high for Chicago, but not excessively high.

Are you paying shipping?
At least tell him where he would need to ship to...

That is surprising. GLWS!

I checked them out and am still considering them. The one corner is rounded off.
They are not consecutive. Very nice seller, he didn't play them loud.

He sent me some bigger pictures. They are consecutive 1972 decorators with awesome crossovers. The slate tops look very nice too.
I don't need them, but still very tempted...

Lol, when I missed these, I thought "well, at least Brandon got 'em!" None of my buddies snagged these, but there's a guy in Brookfield who's been buying lots of Heritage, so maybe he got 'em.
If the guy in Brookfield bought them, they will be back up for sale soon (but not for $700).

Good thing I’m not a betting man, because I would have placed a bet that you grabbed these.I already have a beautiful pair of walnut and Cornscala and KLF-30 and Chorus II, etc.

GLWS. It looks great (and I am sure sounds great). If it had the remote option too, I would likely have to jump on it.

Indeed, wish I had checked the forum earlier. I just need one more pair, well, maybe a couple, then I should be good, maybe.
When OCD kicks in, things can get interesting...
I need to purge, too many things sitting around.

If you find a deal, you've gotta pounce. Those Cornies were listed for $700, the average price is $837.
The last four I documented were $1000, $800, $800 and $850.
That's how I got a full basement. Looks like a good deal, but no room in the inn.

Nice speakers, I have two pair of mahogany. I might be willing to part with one pair...
