Thanks for that, I should have checked compatability first. I don't really need the microphone, I was only interested in a reasonable quality earbud, and with the mike switch down it certainly gives that. I'm happy to have it taped.

Ah well, I can always tape the mike button down.

Just recieved my S4i headphones, bought via genuine Amazon seller. On my Samsung Brooklyn, I can only hear vocals on music tracks by holding down the microphone button (it's interesting to hear instrumental versions of my favourite tracks.) Is there anything that can be done to remedy/change this? Thanks in advance Taff
