  1. The cable goes from the Preout SW1 on the Marantz to the line in of the RW12d
  2. Greetings I am hooking up my new system (Klipsch RF82II's with the RW-12d Powered Subwoofer) and when I opened the box I noticed that there was a power cord, but no cord to go from the sub pre-out (Black connector) of the back of my Marantz reciever to the RW-12d. Questions 1. Do they normally not include a cord?| 2. Can someone point a good one out for me on Amazon? The only thing I have around me is a Walmart and a PX (Military). Is it something I should be able to pick up there? Thanks in advance....
  3. I am thinking about going with this (Based on a few recommendations here MARANTZ SR6006 Home theater receiver 3D-ready HDMI switching Apple Air Play http://www.amazon.com/Marantz-SR6006-AV-Receiver/dp/B0054U39QS I don't want to try to go separates right now. I want to get the speakers into my house and hook everything up to see how everything comes together...

  5. What do you recommend? Besides the non-recommendation of the Yamaha
  6. The Yamaha is 899 most places. My budget is 1500 dollars or so. I like the IPOD and WIFI capabilities of the Onkyo, but I have never owned one or had one. I read about some reliability issues people have been having with Onkyo.
  7. I bought these speakers during the Black Friday sales. Klipsch RF-82 II Floorstanding Speaker (black-pair) Klipsch RS-52II Surround Speaker (pair) (Black ) Klipsch RC-62II Center Speaker (black-each) Sub- Klipsch RW-12D R I plan on listening to music 30% of the time and watching movies the other 70%. I need a receiver that 1. Has wi-fi for streaming Pandora/internet radio 2. 3d- to match my TV Here is the TV I bought: http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN55D7...2258451&sr=8-1 Samsung UN55D7000 55-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D LED HDTV 3. Is under 1500 dollars. 4. Is powerful enough to power my speakers. 5. Is somewhat simple to operate. The wife will be using the TV/stereo! I was looking at these 2 models http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16882115277 YAMAHA RX-A3000 It's on sale or this model from Onkyo http://www.amazon.com/Onkyo-TX-NR809.../dp/B00505F01E But I am open to anything. I would like to rely on you fine gentlemen to recommend a great receiver that matches these requirements.
  8. I ended up canceling the receiver off of my order based on reviews. Any suggestions?
  9. I ended up buying it through acousticsounddesign.com. They are authorized dealers and I got a great deal. They work with you on the price ... if you call in. They shipped it the very next day (today) as well.
  10. Guys, I ended up going with this setup. I ordered it through acoustic sound design.com Harman Kardon AVR 2650 7.1 AV Receiver (Black ) Klipsch RF-82 II Floorstanding Speaker (black-pair) Klipsch RS-52II Surround Speaker (pair) (Black ) Klipsch RC-62II Center Speaker (black-each) Sub- Klipsch RW-12D R (from the newegg sale) I can't wait . Thanks for the advice!
  11. Thanks, I meant to say the RC62ii. Looking into the receiver suggestion right now. ANy other speaker suggestions?
  12. Ok I cancelled the order at newegg. Looks like I am 1/2 way done now. Here is what I want to go with . I think it's smart to go with the RC-62 in the front instead of the non matching 64. 1. Receiver/Amplifier : Undecided Floor: 2 - RF 82II's (Newaudiovideo.com) 899.99 a pair Sub: rw 12dr: 299.99 at New Egg. Center: RC-62 for 408.00 Rear: Undecided. That brings me to around 1600.00 I think i can swing another 1600 or so...to buy the rest of the speakers or an amplifier. Any further suggestions? There is sales all over the place this weekend!
  13. I'm not saying the rc 64ii will sound crappy with the rf82ii's or that you shouldn't get it. Here's my experience: My friend has an rf82/rc62 combo. I have the RF7ii/rc64ii combo. He has a larger room than I do as well. We have the exact same AVR and both have emotiva amps. I can say that his setup sounds almost as good as mine does. Now niether of us have giant rooms to fill with sound. Both are dedicated HT's. I paid $2500 for my front 3 speakers and they do look amazing. He paid $500 for his 3 speakers used. Basically I would say if your going with the rf82s then you can safely get an rc62 and be super happy. If I could trade my set up for his and have the $2000 price difference in my pocket I would do it in a heart beat. Don't get me wrong... I do like the looks of the rf7's better and I do feel like they are a better speaker. But honestly the difference in sound does not add up to the difference in price. One thing I can say is that I will never have to upgrade from the rf7ii's.... That don't say much for the new 7's, my 7 's and the 82ll's I sold are not even comparable in any way.I think the room makes more difference than your speakets in this case.If you bought my 7 's and gave me 82's as my only speaker I would not do the deal. The 82's are good speakers but they aren't comparable to 1st Gen 7 's, I have not had ll's in my house as the grill stopped my further consideration. The 708 for $350 is a good deal and a good match for the Icon or 82.I also agree the 62 will do a very nice job.I bought my 82ll's online delivered for away less that $800, patience and a good sale. And RB 61's for 400 is out of the ? Are you saying that RB61 pair for 400 is a bad deal? I found them here for that price... http://www.newaudiovideo.com/klipsch-rb61-ii-black-pair-p-9405.html
  14. The ones I want to get are the Klipsch RF-82 II. Will that match with the Rf 64-II or the RF 62-II? I would prefer to buy new for the receiver. Amazon has a sale on some Marantz's and Onkoyo's. Any advice? Thanks for the advice
  15. Mustang Guy, any advice for me? I am still on the fence about what to do.
