  1. So I bought my pair of Image S4's from bestbuy about a year and 1 month ago and they've help up slightly well.In about 6 or so months the stress relievers under the drivers started to split, then the rubber at the jack started to rip(no actual wire is shown in both cases). I really thought nothing of it since it still worked perfectly up until today when the sound in the left driver started to cut in and out.Now the only way to hear the left driver is to bend the wire closest to the jack a certain way.I'd like to know if this can apply to the two year warranty since it does state that it doesn't cover normal wear and tear. But I've read up and this seems to be a common problem and they've released a more rugged version of these and that tells me they know these have a problem.

We will probably still be able to cover you under warranty. Please give us a call at 800-KLIPSCH Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm and we will do our best to take care of you!

  2. My story..

first pair bought klipsch direct did not work out of box... took me while to notice as I was using for music then one day decided to try noise canceling... and No difference...

    do support thing..

they send second pair... and Dead out of box.... kind mad now.

send back get third pair... Same thing but I had a few overseas trips and no time to fart around returning so I just used them as is..

well now I have some time and started the return process again as I await my email reply and shippinf info.

I am asking they actually open box and try themselves first so as not to waste my time. They can make a speaker that works out of box but not headphones.

klipsch - prove me wrong PLEAAASSSSEEEEEEEE and yes I am irritated

Would you mind sending your order service number? We will be able to better assist you that way!

  3. This is awful reply in my point of view!

As the Samsung Galaxy S3 is currently the best selling smartphone I think that your company will have more interest in this topic.

Anyway, for now the solution is to sell the Klipsch headphones and go for a brand with more interest in their consumers needs.

    Thanks,

How is it an awful reply? It is just the truth of the matter. We obviously have a lot of interest in iPhone AND Android headphones. We have created the Image S4A (II) that are perfectly compatible with the Samsung Galaxy III. We are not ignoring the best-selling phone out there. To suggest otherwise is quite silly.

I understand that you want a "converter" but that simply isn't possible for a variety of reasons but to suggest we are ignoring Galaxy SIII users is quite silly.

  4. Hello everyone,

I apologize for the off topic, but I am currently looking for a replacement of my non-working zaggsmartbuds and I was wondering if Klipsch s4i have all the same functions together with the option to have the "buds" around your neck, even when not in use? Please let me know. Thank you!

They do not have the around the neck thing you describe. The Image S4i are a significant step up sound quality wise.

  5. I could be wrong but it sounds like an earwax issue. I had the same thing with a pair of Shure earphones a few years back. I couldn't imagine that would be the case but when I sent them in they told me that more than half of the time the "faulty" earphones are simply caked with earwax. I think Klipsch supplies a cleaning tool. If not, google how to clean them. I hope that is the case rather than a faulty set. Good luck.

Right on the money, I suspect.

  7. Now I'm confused. I've just tested the Beats Studio with play/pause control for iPhone and it works like a charm in the Galaxy S3.

What's the problem so with the S4i and Image One? The volume controls?

Another weird behaviour is that using the Klipsch headphones if I start a call the mic works very well but not when I receive one...

I'm confused and frustrated with this,

    Thanks,

    Adler

Android does not have a standard set of hardware or software, making it very difficult to develop a solution that works on both iOS and Android devices. The remote for the Image ONE and S4i will not work properly with an Android phone in all likelihood.

  8. As many of the users here I have an iPhone and a Galaxy S3.

As I have both S4i and Image One it would be very nice if we can have an adapter so we can use these amazing headphone in both devices.

Can anyone help to find one?

As Galaxy S3 is the top seller smartphone now, it would be very nice if Klipsch could also release such converter...

    Thanks,

    Adler

Please post to your idea to the Klipsch Community Think Tank

There is no adapter currently. The remote is specifically designed to work with iOS devices.

  9. Gosh ! Finally somebody replied on this thread Stick out tongue I was thinking such a vibrant Klipsch Forum and how is my post going un noticed. Anyways Alex, before you put the link I have already gone through this review about the G-17 on Engadget and yes I have read the review on quite a few Tech Sites. I was hoping a end user feedback review on this. Generally reviews from profesiional Tech sites, magazines tend to be biased if they have been having a association with the product company for long. Again I may be wrong. Ok so I do imagine that Klipsch G17 may have a powerful Bass because I personally also have high regard for the quality Klipsch produces. Have been long fan of the Klipsch Promedia GMX-2.1 (If I remember the model number correctly) Man !! That was one heck of a fantastic speakers, have never..ever...ever..come across anything as fantastic as that ! That was out of the world ! So listening to those speakers Klipsch made me look at them with extreme, extreme high regard.

But Like I said I may use the G-17 speakers to watch mioves (even if they are not meant to be) But as you are saying from your own experience of watching a couple of movies, the experience is not bad either right ? (I hope I can take your word for that, Big Smile keeping in mind you are a Klipsch Employee Stick out tongue

So watching movies should not be a problem right on the Klipsch G17 speakers ?

    Cheers !

    Augustya !

Need a little more info. What will you be playing the movies through? Your computer? An iPad? Are you hooking up the G-17 to the TV?

Essentially, your speakers will only sound as good as the source. Just keep in mind, the bass of the G-17 Air is very very good for an Airplay speaker, but it still doesn't compare to a separate subwoofer.

  10. I think reading this review would help you quite a bit with deciding between the G-17 Air & the Zeppelin Air: ENGADGET

"Compared to less expensive AirPlay speakers like iHome's $300 iW1, the $550 G-17 Air is an unquestionably a major step up, and we'd easily choose this puppy over options like the slightly spendier $600 Zeppelin Air."

Among units similar to the G-17 Air, we believe we come out in top in terms of bass.

Movie playback isn't the #1 purpose for the G-17 Air; however, several of us have used it during lunchtime to watch Mad Men and enjoy the sound.
