  1. Talked to the seller. He said the serial # is 5K696.

Belonged to his father, who had "new" crossovers installed many years ago.

He hasn't come up with a firm price yet.

Of course he's going to think they're worth more than I do.

What you guy think I should pay?

    Thanks much.

  2. Will Vincent builds amazing amps. He’s made hundreds and hundreds of Dynaco ST70 amps and Baldwin amps.

Here’s one of his brand-new rebuilt Baldwin amps that are very popular with Klipsch lovers and other owners of hi-efficiency speakers because the amp is totally quiet.

    25 WPC.

Will puts in new foil and oil coupling caps, new filter caps and new cathode resistors.

He uses a pair of balanced output transformers. As originally built by Baldwin, balanced output transformers weren’t necessary because one channel was use for bass notes in an organ, and the other channel was used for everything else. Will has a large stock of Baldwin amps, and because of this, he can test and choose balanced transformers for making a stereo amp.

All tubes test as new on a TV7 tester
    Four 6L6GC output tubes
    Two 5AR4 rectifiers
    Two 12AX7A

Will’s restoration work is second to none. Transformer covers are powder-coated grey. No rattle-can paint jobs here. Will runs each amp for weeks at a time before shipping to make sure everything works just as it should

Amp has two level controls if you wanted to use it without a preamp direct to a cd or other source.

This is a helluva amp, especially at this price.

750 bux plus shipping to the CONUS and paypal fees.

I’ve sold lots of audio equipment online, and I have impeccable, 100%-positive feedback on all the audio sites under the username, Kolledog.

Send me an email and I can send lots of hi-rex photos

    Thank you.

  4. My good friend, Will Vincent, is well known in the Klipsch community (and elsewhere) for his restored and rebuilt masterpiece Baldwin amplifiers, as well as for his Dynaco amps, usually in exotic colors.  Will has not built any Baldwin amps for awhile, but he told me yesterday that he has just completed THREE Baldwins that he would like to sell.

Let me know if you're interested, and I'll get you some photographs and prices.

I'm not really active on this forum, but you can check me out on many of the audio sites under the username Kolledog.

    Thank you.
