  1. I've done that and the rear left is alright now, but the rear right is still a little low. Any ideas? ------------------ "War ain't, war just isn't what it used to be."
  2. After finally getting back my klipsch speakers i must say that im pleasently surprised at the service, kudos to Klipsch. But a problem has arisin. My front two sattilites are louder than my rears and my rear right is especially low. How can i rectify this? ------------------ "War ain't, war just isn't what it used to be."
  3. I've had these speakers for 6 months and i must admit that they are great. Yet this greatness was cut short with the purchase of my new computer around a week ago. Now i didn't have a lot of time to play with my computer and the one completed mission of Ghost recon is testiment to that fact. Yet when i go to sleep i hear the speakers hiss very loudly and the subwoofer whine like a pig. This problem hasn't occured before so i was curious and the next day i decided to dismantle my system and put it together. As soon as i unplugged the speaker system i heard the sub give off a high pitched whine. THis sound is completely different from the normal unplugging noise (i can't describe it). I then plugged it back in and was greeted by a sound which resembled a high pitched motorcycle reving up. I also know that this is not the normal sound that it is supposed to emmit. I then started up Ghost recon and to my dismay the 9mm Silenced pistol gave off a sound that resembled a laser gun and the booming menu music that i had grown accostomed to, sounded pathetic at best. I have come to the conlclusion that my speaker system has been blown. i would like help in how to repair them or how can i return them using the one year warrenty accompanied with the purchase of the speaker system. I have the original recipt and box so i do not think that would be a problem. Thanks for your help and i m sorry if the thread is too long. ------------------ "War ain't, war just isn't what it used to be."
  4. Ok so it is unlikley that they have blown. So i guess it is my sound card. Philips accoustic edge here i come. ------------------ "War ain't, war just isn't what it used to be."
  5. How hard is it to blow the KLipsch 4.1's? They sound scratchy and that might be it so how hard is it? and how much does it cost to replace them? ------------------ "War ain't, war just isn't what it used to be."
  6. Please can anyone help me? I m getting desperate. I m thinking about dumping my santa cruz and buying and audigy but i have a VIA chipset so i don't know how that will work. WEll if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this i would like it. ------------------ "War ain't, war just isn't what it used to be."
  7. Well it only hisses when you turn on the computer (especially in the Windows bootup sound). I;ve kinda run out of options. I will move my sound card to a diffeent slot maybe that will help. I don't think it is the speakers because i had the FPS 2000 before and those crackled. ------------------ "War ain't, war just isn't what it used to be."
  8. Sorry for delay between post. But I have narrowed the problem down to only the rear speakers. And yes they are the 4.1's due to the headphone and "CD player" jack. So what can i do from here, any help would be appreciated. ------------------ "War ain't, war just isn't what it used to be."
  9. I just bought the Klipsch 4.1's dumping my "crappy" FPS 2000's for something with more power. Well i just hooked it up and i have realized that the controll pod and the rear speakers hiss. They still work but there is a hissing sound when ever sound is put through them. Can anyone help me? 1 GHZ T-Bird 32 MB Geforce 2 MX 512 MB PC-133 RAM Santa Cruz Sound Card ------------------ "War ain't, war just isn't what it used to be."
