basically your saying it is ok to play 8's on 6ohms but not 6ohms on 8ohms My receiver has a switch in the back for 4 6 8 . Next question Will it hurt the 8ohm speaker kg 4.2.

I'm green to the world just getting started on the Klipsch Kick. I have a yamaha natural sound receiver htr-5250 it has 4-6-8 ohms capability a and b speaker buttons. Dose anyone know if I can play 4 and 6 ohms speakers together with this amp. I have look up the website for my amp but it still makes no since to me. Da! I have kg4 6ohms and kg4.2 speakers would like to play them both with some type of configuration. If anyone knows anything I would appreciate it.
