Do the 7's need significant power to shine? Currently I have an Emotiva XPA-3 running my front three( RF-82II and RC-64II) but I am wanting to add the RF-7's soon. Will the XPA-3 rated at 200 Watts be enough power?
Thanks.

Did the RF-7's have a full grill on them and then the change was made on the RF-7II'S?
Yes, below are my original RF-7's with grills.
Those look great! I am sure they had a good reason for changing the grills, but I would rather have the full grill any day..

I was afraid their wouldn't be any other options for the grills. Did the RF-7's have a full grill on them and then the change was made on the RF-7II'S?

I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a pair of the 7's. I like the look the of the grills on my 82II's and wondered if they make a similiar grill for the 7II?

I am also looking to purchase from Vanns. You can't beat their pricing and service. Ideally, I would like to buy locally but the 9.75% sales tax along with the lack of discounting makes it hard to justify the price difference..
Now I just have to find a buyer for my 4 month old RF-82II's... [H]

I am current owner of a set of RF-82II's and a RC-64II but have been looking for a "solid" reason to upgrade to the RF-7's. Back in the Fall when I purchased the 82's, I wanted the 7's but I couldn't find a suitable demo and the price was higher than I could justify. Since then, I was able to do an A/B demo briefly with both and was highly impressed....
How many 7 owners made the similar switch and what was the biggest difference noticed?
Thanks in advance..

That is good news that you are happy with how the XPA-5 handles the 7's. I just didn't want to have to buy a new amp in order to run the 7's. Down the road, I might consider adding something else to the mix like a XPA-2.
