  1. I'll look into the KG series, there seem to be more of them available.
  2. Yeah I know, I need a larger home. Thanks for the input though.
  3. I’m been doing more research on my upgrade and have come to realize that receiver technology has changed in the last 20 years! From what I have gathered, mostly by the posts on this forum, (there’s a ton of information on here) is that Marantz is a good choice for Heresy II’s. I’m curious as to people’s experience with the Marantz SR 6006. I was at the local big box electronics chain over the weekend and they weren’t able to get it connected and had to have their tech guys adjust some internal settings. That sends up a red flag, but it may be a onetime occurrence. I’ve also realized that if I want the best center speaker match for the Heresy II’s, I either need more room for another Heresy, or be patient trying to locate an Academy. Would the KLF-C7 also be a good match? Which leads me to my last question, what type of rear speakers would be a good match? Unfortunately not enough room for another set of Heresy II’s. Thanks again!
  4. Bill, Thanks for the advice. I really like my Heresy's which is why I plan to use them for the front speakers. Unfortunately I don't have the room for more to be used as the rear or center speaker. Chriss
  5. I’m new here to the forum and want to thank everyone in advance for their help with my upgrade. It’s finally time to update my system, I purchased a Panasonic ST30 series Plasma two weeks ago and now want to go surround. I have a pair of Heresy II’s purchased new in the late 80’s I plan to use for the front speakers. I would like recommendations for center, rear speakers and a subwoofer, something that would complement the Heresy II’s. I have been considering the Reference series from Klipsch. Also looking for recommendations for a new A/V receiver and have been looking at the Yamaha Aventage and Pioneer Elite lines. My total budget is $1500 - $2000.
