I'm in the same boat, the unit itself is still fine, but the cups are pretty far gone.

I recently purchased an F30 pack which inlcuded this sub, all brand new. It's hooked up to my denon avr2312 and has been going great for the week I've had them. Tonight I turned it on and it cracked and popped loud enough to scare the occupants and the fuse had literally blown itself to pieces. I'm pretty comfortable with electronics so I pulled the amp out and there is black charring on one of the mosfets Any ideas from anyone? I'll be calling the shop tomorrow to seek a replacement.

Sorry for the old thread but if anyone is still looking. If you pop the battery door completely off you will likely find the wire that connects to the negative terminal has popped off.
