I'm building my HT at the moment and will receive my THX setup soon. I want to put a cloth or carpet to the walls , but now someone has adviced me not to do it With the surrounds. He said : the dipoles has to work on a reflective surface. Is this true ? Can anyone confirm this, because then I will need to leave the part Were the surrounds are un-clothed.

Ahaa, so it is good in any of the 8 seats. Is that applicable to any kind of speaker-system or is the THX Ultra 2 a very good system for that ? They told me that for some systems, when you have balanced the sound for the sweetspot, moving a little to the left or right, it will give a totally different kind of sound.

I'm building a dedicated HT room and I will have about 8 seats available in it. I'll probably buy the THX Ultra 2 System, but I was wondering about the sweetspot. Is it possible to balance them out to get an overal good sound quality on each seat ? Do they give a good spread or is it only good in 1 place the sweetspot so it doesn't sound good in the rest ?

Hi, I'm about to order the Klipsch THX Ultra2, but I saw that Klipsch also has the THX as inwall. The price for the inwalls are cheaper, but will they give the same quality ? For example : THX Ultra2 = Klipsch THX ULTRA II KL650 How is it in comparison to : THX In Wall KL 6504 Klipsch And what about the surrounds ? Klipsch THX ULTRA II KS525 = THX In Wall KS 7800 Klipsch ?
