I fixed the problem for some reason the drivers for my creative labs SB live 5.1 card got screwed up becuase when I installed new ones all the speakers worked again. thanks anyway im sooo happy they weren't broken!

I have had these pro media 4.1 v2 speakers for a little over 2 years and this is my second problem with these speakers the first one was the control pod dials broke. today i just noticed my front 2 speakers are not functioning. Only the rear 2 and the sub is. I looked at all the setting in the computer and then cables and plugs all were in porperly. i changes speakers and its not the actual speakers or wire. One thing i do is turn the power off to my speaker system every time im not useing them they make a light hiss sound that i didnt want to hear all night long. I have been going this since i bought the speakers. could this have cuased the problem? I think its the amp and if it is, how can i fix it?, I would rather not send it back to Klipsch guys becuase its takes so long. but what are my options for fixing it? will it cost me anything or will klipsch replace it for for free? You think klipsch could have put some effort into building durable systems, i ahve never abused my speakers and they still break, its pathetic. thanks,

Hi I had a screwy control part for volume on my 4.1s so I sent the part back, (CP-1) thats what the part is called. Well i sent it 2nd Day on 12-11-01 and i haven't gotten the new part back yet. Im not sure how long it takes u guys to send stuff back but i would have thought it should be here by now im my R/A # is 8682 if that means anything at all.

But see i didn' smack my speakers and i have only had these speakers for 3 months , im not the type of person that would treat my speakers poorly. Its almost like it became detached partly on the inside. I tested the rest of the controls to see if they were the same way and they didnt move out at all. well best buy was being a punk soo im shipping that part to klipsch and getting a new one. About how long will that take really? Is klipsch fast?

My main volume control nokb is getting loose and will pull out about 1/3 in past the other knobs. It may break or fall off so i wont be able to control my volume to my speakers manually... so i am seeing if Best Buy will take them and let me get new ones am i doing the right thing? I should also say it was very annoying haveings something wrong with a set of speakers that were $300!!!! Haveing a nokb go limp like an old mans "wang" each time u touch it got to me after awhile. so tell me what would be the best way to get this thing fix?

is it me or does it seem like there are a lot of defective products for these speakers...... well i have had my 4.1s and i had a problem with my peackers for DVDs the sound is messed up, high volume like the speakers are on really load and the sound is very quiet so the buzzing sound is very high and i was wondering how might i fix this i have a SB live 5.1 X-gamer and i also had this problem on 2 different dvd programs.
