I recently bought 2 LF-10's of Ubid.com. Both units were defective. I sent them to Klipsch to be fixed. I got them back yesterday and one is still leaking air from the front driver. It's a coincidence also that you had it hooked it up to a Yamaha receiver, I have one also(Yamaha HTR-5280/RX-V800). I also use the same material to demo HT equipment. Anyone heard this sub before? How does it compare to other popular subs? I was interested in picking one of these up on Ubid.com(many sell below $500). I'm aware of it's LFE problem and I'm willing to take a chance and since it has a warranty. Hopefully I can get a little more input first. I currently have 2 Klipsch LF-10's, both in for service. I was thinking of selling one and putting the money towards new towers(Klipsch RF-3). Then I thought instead of living with that one LF-10, I could pick up an Infinity HPS-1000 (one 15" active and two 15" passive, 1000 watt amp). I didn't really get to test the Klipsch out fully because they arrived with the problem, but I figure that if I'm left with one LF-10 then one Infinity should sound better with a 15" and 1000 watt amp. Who here thinks 2 LF-10's will out perform my 2 Infinity IL120's. I'm brave enough take a chance with the LF-10's. I just want to know how you think these subs stack up. Just wanted to get everyones opinion on the new RSW subs. Within a few weeks I'm getting RF-3, RC-3, RS-3, plus undecided sub(powered by Parasound HCA-855a). I haven't heard the new subs because I have to drive close to an hour just to listen. Is it worth the drive? I have 2 infinity interlude 10" (IL100S). I had a big dip(appx. -6dB)in frequency's between 50Hz-80Hz, but infinity's RABOS system helps adjust for room acoustics and it REALLY helped. Will all subs have this kind of problem? Is there a difference between the Klipsch quintet satellites and the Klipsch computer satellites. I just bought four of the computer speakers for $40 off ebay. I figure at worst I can sell them or use them with my Altec Lansing computer sub. ------------------ FABULOUSFRANKIE

I'm currently redoing my home theater and my anniversary present from the wife is going to be speakers(Klipsch RF-3, RC-3, RS-3*she really knows how to please a man*). I still have my KSW12 which I was keeping until I got money for a RSW12. I couldn't pass up a deal on ubid.com, I got 2 Infinity IL100's for $450 shipped. I had a little listen at Circuit City but the display was messed up and I couldn't really try them out. I will try another Circuit City soon but I wanted to get everybody's input on whether I should keep them or sell them.
