Future Shop on Black Friday.

Im currently running an Axiom audio setup but used to have an RC-62 and RF-82s. Long story short is that the store sold me used speakers as new ones. One of the 82's also had a blown tweeter. Future Shop seems to sell these at half price during Black Friday. I loved the immersion the Klipsch provided with movies. Its yet to be beaten by any other setup ive heard. Ideally id like to get an RC-64 and RF7/82 setup if we move.

Just curious if anyone has run two RC-62s side by side ? Just curious as i can usually buy a new pre version ii for $250 during Black Friday. I was considering this as an option to buying an RC-64ii. Is there a big difference between the previous version and the new one ?

I haven't seen the RC-7 on the site so I assumed it was a discontinued model .

A number of years ago I had purchased a pair of RF-82's and RB-61's from Future Shop and an RC-62 from London Drugs.To make a long story short, the 82's and 62 ended up being open box items that had been re-sealed and resold as new. One of my 82's had a blown tweeter to make it worse. I ended up returning the whole lot because I was so pissed. I ended up buying a complete Axiom system (which sound great) and I am very pleased with it, but I've always missed and have never heard a soundstage as open, large, and revealing as the Klipsch. I convinced my wife to let me buy a set of RB-61's for the living room last week and I am in audio heaven. I've decided that when we move to a larger house I'm moving my current system to the living room and the theatre is being made completely with Klipsch. RF-7's ,RC-64 and RS-61's. For HT I just don't think anything else touches the Klipsch speaker for emersing you INTO the movie. I call it the Holy F*** Effect !!!
