  1. http://www.amazon.com/review/R18DJV0M3ABWK8/ref=cm_cd_pg_pg5?ie=UTF8&asin=B000062VUO&cdForum=Fx2FXBXHD76NCXO&cdPage=5&cdThread=Tx2IQ5JMCHW3SG0&store=electronics#wasThisHelpful This is a link to a discussion thread on amazon on problems with this Klipsch system. I'm confused as to what they are discussing as they refer to problems with the DIN plug being fixed by replacing the "control pod". Are these not two different parts all together? Could they be related to the problem with my left speaker? It seems many people are having problems with the Klipsch speakers being constructed flimsilly. I don't know if that's related to my problem of only having sound in one speaker.
  2. I've also installed the latest driver, checked the clips again and nothing. If I hold the left speaker to my ear I can hear a faint ping when I test it using the system. So sad, arcade fire in mono is awful especially with expensive high quality speakers. Can anyone tell me if there is support from klipsch at all for situations like this? Is it best to phone them?
  3. I forgot to say that I'm on a pc with Windows 7, sure hope people can help. Thank you
  4. A couple of days ago I noticed my speakers were not sounding great so I discovered eventually that the volume in VLC was too high and the sound yesterday was much better but one of the speakers was not giving any sound. In the process of this I cleaned and organized everything behind my computer to see if interference was the problem but it was initially a volume issue. Now I've tried switching the wires to the speakers and each speaker emits sound. I've searched what I can with the computers sound software but can't solve this. The computer test also shows the speaker is not making sound. I've plugged in headphones and they sound fine. Up till now I've had no problems and I always play the sound low as I live in a wood building and noise can travel. the subwoofer is working fine. I tried readjusting the wires but that doesn't seem to work and both are well plugged into the speakers. The wires have had little to no stress and aren't worn at all. It was bought new from London Drugs a couple of years ago and has been treated like gold and so I believe it's some little thing perhaps with the computer software settings that I've tinkered with inadvertantly. I haven't yet touched the sound driver. I really like these speakers and can't afford anything new so I hope someone can help me with this problem. Thank you, seamer
