Thank you zigybean (but don't let my wife know!). Truth is I don't have a lot of money invested in these speakers and it was important to me to do a quick and painless transaction. And it was important to me that they went to a community that knows what they are and may take the time to refurbish them (i.e., no Craigslist). Looking to get rid of a pair of Heresy IIs from my storage room -- shipping charges (if any) only. Consecutive numbers, one of the speakers is disassembled but I have all of the drivers and they should all be in working order. The other speaker is assembled and in the same condition as when I bought the pair off Craigslist about 5 years ago. I had planned to clean up the finish on these speakers and use them for family outdoor movie nights. After removing all of the drivers on one of speakers, I noticed that the cabinet had begun separating along one of the edges. I glued the two sides together and the repair appears to have held but the damage caused me to lose my enthusiasm for the project. The speakers have been sitting on a shelf for 4 years now and I'm looking to make some room. The cabinets have scuff marks, some light scratches and dented corners but the veneer remains in decent shape. The drivers/crossovers are all stock. Grills are in good, to very good shape. I'm willing to harvest all of the parts and just toss the cabinets if that's what someone prefers. I'm not looking for any payment other than shipping costs. I live in Northern VA and would be willing to drive within 2 hours of my home to save shipping costs. Pictures upon request, let me know if I can answer any questions.
