  1. The driver seems bolted. I wrote to the klipsch and now expect an answer. Thanks at all Kevin
  2. I confirm, on the multimeter measuring says that it is an open circuit, then open coil. 30 years of high fidelity is the first time I've ever such a thing
  3. Ok,great idea, I try to unscrew all the drivers.
  4. Unscrew from high woofer hole is not easy: http://i57.tinypic.com/2lmui34.jpg The screw is in bad position. With digital multimeter the coil is interrupted. This picture captured from Area DVD
  5. The wires are still on the tweeter and the coil is interrupted. Are to be changed, but I can not remove them.
  6. I tried, but relying on the front with a spatula you are likely to break everything. Really a bad idea to fix the horn in this way. Also removing the woofer at the top does not access the screws of the driver. I am really disappointed.
  7. I honestly do not know. I thank you all for valuable suggestions. Kevin
  8. You're very kind, I'll try, I have to be careful not to damage the speaker
  9. Ok,thanks for info, looking tweeter pics in this forum
  10. I can not disassemble the horn ,honestly do not know what more to do, I'll try to write to the Klipsch, I hope that tweeter is cover by warranty, otherwise I'll bring in garage. Is a regret, have only 1 month Thanks at all
  11. Thanks, from inside the tweeter: http://i58.tinypic.com/13ynx3s.jpg This is picture from Klipsch Forum. This is the horn from front speakers: http://i60.tinypic.com/6z0oqc.jpg No screw,no removing baffle, nothing.
  12. I wrote klipsch RF 7 MkIiI tweeter, K-701-G on Google, but no pictures,no how disassemble the horn. I have RF7 ,RF7 MkII,Cornwall III and La Scala, but only RF7MkIi have this issue. I used of 70/80 watt,no more, the amplifier is ok,i tested and no DC output or other problems. I repeated the test with first version of RF7 and no problem, My first problem is how disassemble the horn ,in this moment.
  13. My problemi is how to remove the horn, front there are no screws, I was listening to Rock 'n Roll train and the tweeter is dead.
  14. Please,as you disassemble the horn, there are no screws, can someone help me? Thank in advance Kevin
  15. Hi, My power amp is Mark Levinson No.23.5, I do not understand what happened. the volume was more or less around 70/80 watts per channel. The power amp work perfectly,no DC current or distortion
