thanks for the info I am scouring my local craigslist, which is where I got the speakers from. Some people practically give away some really nice receivers. And I am only looking at a midrange quality one that will support these speakers. But yes if I can get one that is top quality for a great price, I will jump on it and just be careful with the volume control.

I need a receiver that has 8 ohm impedance, correct? Looks like 50 watts continuous on the fronts and 75 watts on the center. Definitely will be enough power for what I need.

I assume paying $20 for them was an absolute steal.
