I've had 3 pairs break in the past 5 months with normal use. They absolutely have a quality control problem with these (read amazon reviews) however if you try to ask for a different model via warranty and support they ignore the question.

Is there any way to request a different model via warranty? I've gone through 3 pairs of S4I II headphones in the past 5 months. I use them often but treat them well. I believe there is a big quality control issue with these (Amazon reviews would tend to agree). I'm really getting tired of warrantying these headphones. Is there a solution to this problem or is this a never ending battle? Thanks!
