Hiya... I've been lurking on this board for a while, and I had a question: What percentage of the PM 4.1's go bad and/or don't work straight from the factory? My suspicion is that it is abnormally high. The only reason I suspect this is the fact that Klipsch is only offering the refurbed 4.1's on their front page. I may also be slightly bitter that my 2nd set didn't work. ;c) bryzn42

Thanks. They arrived at my door 2.5 weeks after I mailed them to Klipsch, which I thought was pretty speedy. Does it take longer if they pay for the shipping? Thanks again!

The wire is fused together, but if I'm not misteaken, you should find it quite easy to pull it them apart. Just grab one plug in each hand and gently pull them apart until they are separated enough to fit around your monitor. Don't pull to much or the wires become messy. This is why they are fused together in the first place.

This is my second set. I can't afford to keep mailing these back to klipsch. I got them in the mail today, plugged them in, and they don't work. Please, Dear God. I just want some music. Any ideas?
