  1. So I'm about to place order but I need some help. How wide is rf7ii with stabilizer feet. I only have 13.5". Is 4100 a good deal on rf7ii, rc64ii, rf82ii (surrounds) rb61ii (front heights)
  2. Thanks I'll ask about the free sub. I don't know if I'll be able to use the sub but I guess I could sell it. My rythmik would really over power that klipsch. Also my pioneer has 11.2 ch preouts and is rated at 130x9 for power. It has the d3 amps. Pio 1522 is really a exact clone if pioneer elite sc65. So I'm sure it'll be fine
  3. Got it. I agree. I'm just going to buy rf7ii, rc64ii, and rs62ii. Use my pioneer 1522 and definitive sm450 for front heights. That will be at $3850 for those 5. Than I'll buy a receiver for my bedroom like the marantz 5007 or something under $500. I'm sure both systems will sound great than I won't need to sell and upgrade later. I don't think the x4000 denon or 929 onkyo are better than my pioneer anyways. Only upgrade would be denon 4520 or onkyo 3010 or 5010. Hope everyone agrees. Thanks for all the help!!! Oh yeah I hope the klipsch will be better than my definitive or I'll be pissed. Lol
  4. So the rs62 aren't worth $250 more over the rs52. Just seems like such a little amount of money.
  5. Do the rf82ii need a lot of power? Just wonder cause you favor power amps
  6. Is the denon x4000 powerful enough to run the rf7ii and rc64ii?
  7. Very true. It's giving me a headache picking out speakers. It almost takes all the fun away.
  8. The rf7ii are really that much better than rf82ii? I heard them in a store but felt like it was not a huge difference but defiantly better. But the 7 were powered by a onkyo 3010 and the 82 were powered by onkyo 727. So not fair comparison. The salesman wouldn't move 82 to other room.
  9. Maybe I should just get the rc62ii and not worry about the rc64ii. Just be happy with rf82ii, rc62ii, rb61ii, and rs62ii.
  10. I don't think I'm doing it backwards. I'm just trying to get all 7 at once. I think the 7 speakers will sound better than just two rf7 and rc64. Also my bpx have 4 5.25 drivers in them with two tweeters and I hear them all the time. I feel like the rs52 is a lateral move. The rs62 is a upgrade I think. But I might miss the extra tweeter if I get rf82. Am I wrong with these statements. I'm totally new to klipsch?
  11. Thanks. It's hard to buy the rs62ii when I can get rf82ii for cheaper. When I get rf7ii I'll use the 4 rf82ii as my surrounds.
  12. Would towers be better or worse as surrounds SuBXeRo?
  13. I called him that's who gave me pricing. He said he didn't know what's better than rf82ii vs rs62ii He also didn't know what's the best receiver for klipsch. But thanks for reply
  14. Also my room is 16' w by 24'd by 9' t One door but can be closed. So sealed room
  15. So this is my first post. I'm coming from a nice definitive technology system that I've enjoyed but feel like its time for a change. What I have: Fronts-bp7001 Center- clr2000 Front heights-sm450 Surr-bpx Receiver-pioneer 1522k Sub- rythmik fv15hp What I want Fronts- rf82ii(really want rf7ii but to much right now) Center- rc64ii Front heights- rb61ii Surr- rs62ii vs rf82ii ( don't know?????) Receiver - onkyo 1010,onkyo929, denon x4000, pioneer elite sc75 ( don't know here either????) Sub- staying with my rythmik So my questions are....... Rf82ii are cheaper than rs62ii which will be better as surround? I like the idea of having the towers for surrounds, but I want the best sound. Next question..... I really like my pioneer but I was going to put it in my master bedroom with my deftech speakers. So I wanted a new one. I know onkyo has had problems but I'm ok with taking the chance. So what receiver will sound the best with these klipsch speakers? I'm also open to yamaha or marantz too. I know that most people will tell me to get the rf7ii now and just wait on surrounds and height speakers. I want to get all 7 now. I'll get rf7ii down the road some time. Thanks ahead time.
