  1. I am looking to add some surround speakers to my home stereo. I currently have a Yamaha 5460 tuner and a pair of Klipsch Synergy series KSF(single 8.5) woofer. While looking for Klipsch ss1 surounds to go with my system, I stumbled across a web site that had a good deal on Klipsch RF-3 speakers. I was told that you are supposed to stay within the same family when matching speakers. Would it sound bad If I bought the RF-3 speakers instead of the SS1 surrounds, and used the RF-3 as main speakers, and my KSF speakers as surround speakers?
  2. I have what I believe is an Aiwa 6 ohm subwoofer that I bought a few years ago for my mini-systemm. I recently purchased a Yamaha HTR 5450 receiver, panasonic dvd player, and floor standing Klipsch speakers. I was wondering if I could still use the 6 ohm Aiwa subwoofer with my new equipment. Not sure if the ohm difference is a big deal. Will it in any way harm my receiver or speakers if I do use the subwoofer. Please reply if you have any info on this topic. Thank you, Tim Vediz
