Cyphatic

Hi, I picked up my 4.1's a month ago, and for the last 2 weeks they have been ringing. I havent used anything except line outputs (computer and sony discman), everything on surge protectors, yet it rings when idling. On or off, too. The only way the ringing goes out is if i unplug the sub :/ Anyone else have this problem? Anything I can do before calling up klipsch about a repair? Oh ya, while I'm asking, there anywhere that has Audio Tornados in stock? Thanks -Cyphatic

Well, I have a TV-Output on this thing, and on that is a Svidio Out, a Yellow Composite Video Out, and a Black Composite plug that the manual states is a Digital Audio output. Not sure how that works, but would that do the trick? Oh, and I probably wont be getting the 5.1's. Maybe the 17.1's Thanks Cyphatic

Allo, I just picked up the 4.1's, and am loving the sound. My only problem is this. I mainly use them on my notebook, a Dell Inspiron 8000, Which is Dual. Line in, Headphone out, Mic. Not exactly optimal for the surround experience. I'm trying to find an external sound processor of some sort that I can use, be it firewire, usb, or pcmcia. All I've come up with so far is that yamaha reciever http://www.yamaha.com/yec/cavit/index.htm which is overkill in my case, since the 4.1's sub is amp enough, and I'm not really prepared to drop $500 on it. Though it is very sexy I heard of this Tornado thing, but when I search for it, all I find is speakers. Could someone enlighten me? Thanks, Cyphatic
