  1. Thanks everyone for your input. I was thinking of the Emotiva umc-200 ($599) and the XPA-5 ($999), although I could bump that up to $2000. The XPA-5 having 200 W per channel I thought that would power out cleaner sound. The Marantz is another way I could go on the seperates and I have thought of the Integra seperates, so again thanks .
  2. I have klf-30's for fronts and klf c-7 center, using a Denon avr 991 (125w) to power these speakers.I am looking to purchase seperates and considering Emotiva umc 200 preamp and the xpa-5 amp, great reviews by Sound & Vision. I am looking for seperates that will bring a warmer sound to the Klipsch, reduce the highs from the horns but not sure which seperates would accomplish that. Anybody have any Ideas within the price range? Thanks
  3. Land1, what concerns me also is that after speaking with klipsch support they have no parts for the kv-4 so hopefully all will go well. I am considering buying for now for $250 and selling if I ever purchase the klf c-7. Thanks for your help.
  4. Land1,so let me ask, which speaker did you find had the best sound quality?
  5. Thanks Vet, The klf c-7 I believe is the match for the klf 30's and it gets very good ratings, have always wanted to buy the c-7 but the kv-4 seems somewhat similar but I can't find any reviews other than yours on the kv-4, but thanks.
  6. I have the klf 30's and have the chance of purchasing the kv-4 center channel but I can't find any info on the sound quality of this speaker and how it compares to the klf c-7, does anybody have some input?
