  1. I think now that I know that I love the sound of the little amp I'll eventually buy the upgraded one and resell this one. I still can't get over it! [:o]

You've had it half a day and are planning to sell it. Yes sir, it must be the most amazing, incredible amp ever!!! And the audiophile version is undoubtedly an even more most amazing, even more incredible amp.

  2. eBay is making BILLIONS of dollars profit for being middlemen. They need to be a heck of a lot more vigilant about rooting out fraud. Right now they're still based on "the eBay community" doing the work for them for free, by noticing crooked auctions and reporting them. Screw that. They need to hire some people and pay them real money to watch things full time.

There are many many thousands of bad auctions newly listed every day.

  3. I told Tom to tell you that so you wouldn't be overcome by Audionervosa.:) Seriously, that top section does it all -- it'll sound dynamic and open at low volumes and split the atom when you lean on the volume. Don't expect an overhung fat sloppy bottom from these, the kind that makes your pant legs flap. I imagine the sound will be more defined -- tighter with good control. To get them to hop, you'll need them within a foot of at least one wall. Loudness is often used to overcome the lack of dynamics and openess found at lower volumes, but I think with these you'll find you don't have to listen very loud to get that 'all there' sensation. Lower volumes also have the advantage of taking more of the room out of the equation -- usually a good idea.

Awesome review. I'm really interested in the review you come up with once you've heard them, if you ever do.
