Gotta agree with Cut here. Erik, you're not even close to making a point.
I hope to heck it wasn't just another stab at trying to say, "Everything is beautiful, in its own way."

Free shipping, too!
That's awfully generous of them. That's quite a bite out of their $6500 mark-up.
I don't recall anyone on the Forum actually saying he'd buy a pair if he could. I know there was some complaining that the model wasn't available in the US, which isn't really the same thing as someone saying he'd buy them if they were.

I think now that I know that I love the sound of the little amp I'll eventually buy the upgraded one and resell this one. I still can't get over it! []
You've had it half a day and are planning to sell it. Yes sir, it must be the most amazing, incredible amp ever!!! And the audiophile version is undoubtedly an even more most amazing, even more incredible amp.

eBay is making BILLIONS of dollars profit for being middlemen. They need to be a heck of a lot more vigilant about rooting out fraud. Right now they're still based on "the eBay community" doing the work for them for free, by noticing crooked auctions and reporting them. Screw that. They need to hire some people and pay them real money to watch things full time.
There are many many thousands of bad auctions newly listed every day.

As far as I know, Keith Moon and John Entwistle remain dead. So really we're talking about half of a group, at best, canceling.

Sorry to hear that, Tom. And you were going to be our chauffeur.

There is an art to writing a review, and not everyone can do it. I know I can't. If you'd start with a few paragraphs about your audio philosophy, add a few paragraphs about totally extraneous things, and talk about your favorite wine, you'd not be out of place in any audiophile publication.

I told Tom to tell you that so you wouldn't be overcome by Audionervosa. Seriously, that top section does it all -- it'll sound dynamic and open at low volumes and split the atom when you lean on the volume. Don't expect an overhung fat sloppy bottom from these, the kind that makes your pant legs flap. I imagine the sound will be more defined -- tighter with good control. To get them to hop, you'll need them within a foot of at least one wall. Loudness is often used to overcome the lack of dynamics and openess found at lower volumes, but I think with these you'll find you don't have to listen very loud to get that 'all there' sensation. Lower volumes also have the advantage of taking more of the room out of the equation -- usually a good idea.
Awesome review. I'm really interested in the review you come up with once you've heard them, if you ever do.

Just going by looks, those speakers are ridiculous.

I'm thinking maybe cane grilles? Slap a little veneer on?

3-D has been tried so many times in the past I've lost count. It's always sucked and always will suck.
I wouldn't watch a f*@#i*# 3-D movie if you gave me $100.

Wow! I hear one of these things can squash a Jubilee like a bug.

Special things happen when you hit 10,000, or so I'm told.

Craig,
Do you have any surprises this year in your room?We did have some very inventive "surprises" in store for Dean, but he's
chickened outdecided to work a double instead. -
I'm sorry you're not going to make it this year, Patrick.

You trying to get your post count up, Old Buck?

Let the poor man be! Some people do eventually leave this place and get lives, you know!

No wonder. These sometimes can be picked up for $20.

Yeah, who wants bone-crushing bass besides Dr. Who?

It's hard to overestimate the benefit he made to all of our lives with his invention.

Fish don't know they are wet.
If they're that dumb, blame their schools.

I myself wouldn't use Last. As others have said, vinyl *already* lasts. Why treat it with something that could alter things? Why fix what ain't broken?

That's a very nice offer, you're making, Picky, especially since I assume you're buying the stout for everyone? But unfortunately I'm not available on Friday.

OneCall has 60th Anniversary K-Horns For Sale!!!

Bob G.,
eBay has vastly greater reach. Klipsch could sell 60th anniversary models online themselves, just like you guys sell iPod speakers and computer speakers. And that way you would be able to keep a lot more money for yourselves, or reduce the price considerably and still be ahead on profit margin.
