I've lowered the asking price to 1800.00. They still sound great.... Klipsch tech support said they were made in 2011. I've not heard them with a powerful amp. I can't imagine what pumping 250 watts into them must sound like. I've been pushing a pair of rf 42 II's with a B&K 60 watt stereo amp and love the sound. I can't even turn them up much. Getting old, I guess.
