  1. Not sure what happen Stupid thing LOL its working now
  2. After much of a day tracing and all turned out to be a cable brand new that had been pinched or something Sub cable got new one from mono price and blam problem solved thanks guys
  3. Also When rca sub cable not plugged in no hum powered on, Changed outlet to different room hum, unplugged everything but recevier and sub same thing stumpped here sounds more and more like a bad sub
  4. That is correct only when the receiver goes into stand by or power it off so to speak
  5. okay after pluggin in to surge with everything else same issue hum...... tried different cable same..... tried on/auto same..... tried 0/180 phase i think..... same hummm maybe a bad amp like others were saying guess a trip to gainesville this week to replace it unless someone can come up with something else
  6. well after looking at it more it is a hum sound so i have unplugged the cable and it stops tried a diffrent cable that i had to test it seems to still do i am planning on plugging the 2 prong sub plug into the surge to see what happens. I think it does shut down after a few mins i have pulled the cable away from everything else so next move is unplug everything except sub and see from there
  7. will check the cable just hate the 1:15 min drive ugh....... but an hr and 15 mins is better than not having it LOL

  9. no, I didn't get from mike.. It only happens when i turn the system off or into standby mode figure it might be the bypass or something like that i will look into it more when i get time
  10. I have the 62's front and bic sub thinking it is the sub kinda sound ummm womm wom wom the stops after about 20 secs or so if i turn the gain down all the way it stops maybe to close to the other speakers?? its like 3-4 feet only way i can discribe the sound coming from sub seems to be lol
  11. yes thats it, it is sony setup stuff. Is it normal to hear a kinda a humming sound or similar after the system has been turned off from the speakers? just last for a min just wondering if my sub's gain is turned way to far up etc...
  12. Okay i just got the center and sub. I also have the sony str-dh750 Got everything hooked up. Now just wondering if someone could tell me what speaker setup needs to be set at i have a list of like 2.0 1 3.1 1 etc... any ideas

  15. Gonna go with the 52ii seems like it would be a better fit gonna be a few weeks though i only get paid once a month And have to wait. that really sucks LOL
