  1. Hello, I am using these speakers as my desktop speakers and the way my monitors are situated it doesn't really work to have them situated upright. Ignore the fact my monitor situation currently looks crappy, I ordered two of the monitor you see on the right side (and only got one so far) so the left side monitor will be replaced with the same as the right side. Once theyre both in, I ideally would like them situated on the end of the desk, laid horizontally, under the monitor. Is there a certain way they should face for the correct sound?
  2. So it won't jack up the quality of the video despite the video passing through the receiver? Is there a drawback to running the cable through the tv and then the optical audio to the receiver? What are the differences?
  3. Would i just connect the cable box to the tv and run the optical audio out to the receiver?
  4. I would opt for the Denon. I currently own a Samsung HDR 60in 4K TV with the quantum dot display..it's listed as 240hz which really is just an enhancement to white and dark contrasts...will i be able to run the audio through the receiver/speakers without jacking up the video signal on the tv?
  5. I live in a townhouse and the room will be fairly small (600 sq feet) so i wont be turning these up incredibly high, sure i listen to them at high volumes..but probably not high enough that i would need a $600 receiver. Im just trying to find a cost effective receiver that wont damage the speaker for being too underpowered, but will still provide solid quality sound at volumes enough for myself. If i can find a 400-500 dollar receiver thats on a black friday sale for 300, that would be ideal, but im still not sure what model to go with.
  6. what black friday deals are you specifically thinking of? if you have a link or two that would be awesome. really one feature i would like is the ability to use my iphone wireless through my speakers..so bluetooth would be a must.
  7. Sorry for being a newb, but why is 7.2 and bi-amping so neccessary? I have no plans to have more than 2x R 28Fs and 1 center speaker. I've read on klipsch's support that the wattage minimum to prevent damage to the speaker is like 120 W for these speakers. That seems absurd because there are basically no receivers under $1,000 that produce this.
  8. Do you have any recommendations for a receiver in the $200-$325 range that would be ideal. Also this is an odd question but im just crossing my T's here. I would be connecting my TV which has a refresh rate of 240hz, if a receiver is built for 60hz, will it still be able to pass through the video signal correctly?
  9. Hi, Looking to buy a receiver to fit 2x R28Fs, I will also be eventually buying a center channel speaker...will this receiver suffice? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA7VT3N18813
  10. Music listening, anything better than tv speakers will be fine for movies. so this is solely for music
  11. I have a 46in TV i was going to hookup as well, but i dont have any standalone speakers besides the 2 Klpisch KG 3.2s, so it would be the TV, two speakers, amp.
  12. Im not too good as i said with this kind of stuff, im quite tech savvy just not in the speaker world. Im not sure of the difference, i just want an AMP that will complete my system with the pair of 3.2s, for under $150 essentially.
  13. http://tampa.craigslist.org/hil/ele/4683962442.html would this be good?
  14. So all i would need to set this system up would be this amp? Its a bit expensive, i was hoping to grab one for around 125-150 tops. Do i need cables or anything else specific?
  15. Hello, I just bought a pair of KG 3.2s for $190, and im trying to buy the best possible amp for these. I dont know too much about speakers, but i live in the tampa area so i have been trying to find a good amplifier for less than $150 that would match these. Can anyone point me in the right direction...bonus points for a link to one on Tampa's craiglist THanks!!!!
