a hiss through all four speakers but still just a hiss. i............be......pissed but o well I'll get over it any other ideas? Ed

ok went back got the one u were talkin about, nothing, just a nice little hiss

i have the green in the green jack and purple in the black jack and still nothign from the back speakers. anyone got specifics on y-adapters cuz i think this thing is gonna eb tempermental. Ed

ok I got pissed and sucked up all my pride and read the instructions, something about the not splitting y adapter, well i went to radioshack and got another one, and now i have sound from the front left and back right speaker and a crackling every once in awhile, and still only sound out of the on input on ym sound card

I bought a 4.1 system yesturday and I can only get two of the speakrs to work at a time, I have a soundblaster live which supports up to 5.1 surround so I set it to quadraphonic and hooked both cabels in....nothing, I plug one in at a time and I can get two speakers to work, but never all four. I even went so for as to get a y-adapter and THAT didn't even work all I got was a hiss. Then I read something about not having the power supply in when I hooked it up, smooth move on my part I had the power supply in when I hooked it up. And well now that I have exhausted all my options and am still confused,a little help would be appreciated. Thanks for any and all help Ed
