  1. Crazy eddies has them new. No affiliation but they may sell below posted price. http://store.yahoo.com/crazyeddieonline/gensym-39.html I'm in same boat. Michael
  2. My parents had a Technics and it ran hot too. It had class-A type amp and they are always powered up. They sound good. I would not mount in a closed cabinet without a fan or else you need to leave door open when it is on.
  3. This is my first post so be easy on me. I just came out of a cave and realized that Klipsch has produced more speakers that the K-horns, LaScalas, Belles, Cornwalls, and Heresy. Having a pair of Heresy since 1980 and doing no more than playing CD's through a SAE series II amp wired to a Carver M500t I felt content. I finally bought a DVD player and saw the need for a surround sound Receiver. I bought the Yamaha RX-V2200. I am now wanting to add speakers. I was thinking of the SB-1's for rear surrounds and SC-1 for center with Heresy for fronts. I know this setup needs a sub. I also have a chance to get a pair of KLF-30s for front and could use Heresy for rears. I am guessing a KLF-C7 would do well for center. The Receiver has a rear center out so a third Heresy would work great but finding one may be difficult. Anybody want to jump in on this? ****************************************************** I am getting closer to my decision. Space is a big consideration at this time. The wife and I are looking to buy/build new house within year. Media room is big on my list but until then I have to think small. SB-1 for rear surrounds, RC-3, and for $900 I can't pass on the KLF-30's. I always wanted Cornwalls and these are as close to them as I can get. When in new house...who knows!
