I think if I upgrade my 20-39 Plus for the Ultra and tried to "discover" the difference my wife would pack up the kid and leave. It ain't worth it! []

Where are you located for pickup? I bought some KLF30's and the boxes arrived from UPS like they went around the world. The speakers survived with only one small blemish so I considered my self lucky. I would rather not ship again. Edit...No need for a reply, I found your earlier post.

Order a SVS PB2 Plus for the 30 day trial. Show her what loud is and then send it back and go back to using the KSW15. She will never say another word.

Saturday I got a new firmware download and my DVI connector works now!!! I need a DVI DVD player now!!!

Well, the wife called me at work on Tuesday Dec 23rd to tell me the UPS dropped off a big box. She had him put it in garage because it was to big for her to move. I was just getting home late (I know..should of left work early!) and was ready to move it in the HT room when she calls my cell and informs me that she broke her water at work. I hauled butt as fast as the turbo-diesel would allow and made it to the hospital. Two hours later I was holding my new baby girl. The sub had to wait. First movie played? Pirates of Caribbean...cool part when the necklace called out to the other Pirates. Very impressive...I was going to get PB2-plus but just spent $1550 on car repairs so I scaled it back a notch. I thought I could always add a second 20-39 plus if it lacked....it doesn't.

My RPTV is 3 inches below my Center. I have the center angled but it seems to be a good fit and sounds good.

Well the wife asked the magic question: What do YOU want for Christmas? (holidays for the offended) Of course I said a subwoofer. Dang if she said OK! It will be on order next week which should give plenty of time to get here for the Holidays.

Check with your HDTV specialist before buying the DVI cable. I did and they told me the cuurent firmware has it turned off. I will buy the cable when it works!

Oh man I have a solution but it takes some help. In the mid 80's my brother and I shared an apartment. The neighbor upstairs would call the security when we watched TV or played my Heresy's with a mere 70 Watts SAE amp. We had to endure their constant foot steps. We got real tired of it so we tagged teamed them. One of us would go outside and watch for security to pull in the complex while the other jammed out. When Security did pull in we would turn it off and turn on a movie and play chess. Security would knock and notice the absence of loud noise. We would answer and they started to write it off as a problem complainer. After a while they quit responding. I then borrowed my friends Cornwalls and a Carver cube. We laided them on their backs facing up. I inserted a RCA sound effect cd and proceded to play SR71 flyovers, Harleys, Chainsaws, and helicopters. The loudest was a 707 taking off. They moved out that month!!!

Ok this is stretch but it may be helpful to you or others that read it. A company in Nashville buys surplus stuff and they bought some Pioneer 50" plasmas from the bankrupt ENRON company. Seems they used these in their conference rooms and such. Anyway they are priced in the $2k to $4k range. I have not seen them or done business with this company. I just heard about them from one of venders that was installing a fiber optic security system in our plant. I also have the Motorola. It will have bars on side of non HD channels. At least they are black and not gray. Can you turn off unused input channels? It saves scrolling. I have my cable box component output and DVD component output switched by by Yamaha. No degredation of video signal and I only need one remote.

I was doing the direct thing until a local store did the going out of business sale on everything. So I bought enough Tributary cables to rewire my whole rack. I noticed no degregation of video switching through my Yamaha. My Yamaha DVD player has two sets of component outputs so it was easy to A/B. This upgrade had WAF written all over it becase it took the video switching task off the TV made it easier for her to use.

Anyone remember the poster Klipsch made advertising the LaScala. It went sort of like this 1 watt and the lights in the house were on. At 10 watts the whole neighborhood had the lights on! You have plenty of power!!!

I have the RX-V2200 which is very close to the 2300. The crossover is not adjustable. From what I find on this forum is either you like Yamaha or you don't with not much in between. If it sounds good to you is what matters.

Joke? LOL!!! Getting your name removed will not protect you. Even having a private e-mail like yahoo or netscape can reveal your identity if you are not careful. I once got some vile e-mail from someone after I posted to a guestbook of a websight. He had a netscape email account but it gave enough info to reveal his real name and location. I sent him a satellite picture of his home. He got real humble and maybe wised up. Never heard from him again.

No they are not video shielded. They are very powerful. They will make your ears bleed.

I am running a M500t powering my KLF-30's. It sounds amazing. I used to run my Heresy's since the middle 80's with the M500t dong the 2-channel thing. I would get another cube (one for each speaker). We used a cube to run a pair of Lascalas in mid 80's. My old roommate used to DJ for parties. Wow what a amp! Had the police called on us a lot.

Lexicon RT-10? It plays everything but may be too pricey!
