[Klipsch Legend KLF-20 speakers, Los Angeles]

I have a pair of slightly mismatched (see pictures) Klipsch Legend KLF-20 speakers. Sound great, cabinets in decent shape with a few dings and scratches here and there. One of the cabinets was apparently resealed at the back before I got it; that can be seen in the picture showing the input terminals...the one on the left. Have been sitting unused for about two years, Will take 200 watts continuous undistorted RMS, with 800 watts peak. You can drive these until your ears bleed.

Big and heavy, way too heavy to ship, so pick up in Los Angeles only, or I'm willing to drive no more than 60 or so miles to meet you somewhere.

$400 for the pair because they're very slightly mismatched and because the cabinets can use a small amount of cosmetic work. But they sound really great.

On eBay as 'blue11' for more than 20 years, more than 600 feedbacks, no negatives for the entire 20 years.

[KSP-400 Hum Fix/Possible Non-Powered Tower conversion?]

Over a year later and I have still done nothing with this amp. Any thoughts on where to look for the replacment caps? I have not found any old KSP, KSW15 or KSW300 amps around.

 

I just ordered six main power amp replacement caps from DigiKey (2 of each):

If anyone who replaced their own caps is reading this, how did you deal with the power transistors that are screwed directly to the heatsink when disassembling/reassembling the amp?
