  1. I'm not sure what you mean by the volume control pannel justin. Are you talking about when you right click on the speaker in the taskbar and hit adjust audio properties? That is set to quadrophonic like everything else.
  2. I have had this problem off and on for a while now and it's really starting to bug me Whenever I reboot my system the creative mixer resets to 2 stereo speakers instead of 4 point surround for my 4.0's. I have checked the control pannel settings and it's set to quadrophonic speakers like it should be. I'm thinking there may be some other place I have to set things to 4 speakers instead of 2 but I don't know what it would be the only sound programs I have are the suit of stuff from creative that was with the card. my specs are Win Me 1.8 ghz p4 gf3 audigy gamer (reinstalling the latest drivers fixed the problem for 5-10 reboots) 384 meg pc800 thanks in advance
  3. yeah I am under warranty I think I'll wait until my new cp-1 gets here so I can make sure it's not the pod. (cp-1 just died on me reliability is the only thing klipsch has problems with) It should be here within a few days and since I had the exact problem with the old sub it may be that.
  4. so is there any way to fix this or do I have to get a new sub?
  5. I recently noticed that my rear left channel wasn't getting any sounds so after checking all the connections and the wire for damage I plugged it into the rear right speaker channel. It worked fine. So I'm assuming there is somthing wrong with my sub and I was wondering if anyone knew anyway to fix this? I had the exact same thing happen to my last sub and don't want to go without sound for a week or 2 to replace it
  6. Is there a way to hook the v2-4's to a dvd player with only left and right inputs? I have all the right adapters but can I get the correct sound out of it?
  7. I have seen this done with one of those protable dvd players and I would like to be able to do this once and a while for a good movie. However the plugs don't fit any of the input holes on the tv or vcr. thanks in advance
  8. tis as I feared. My cp-1 must be damaged. I got out my old pod and hooked it up and everything is fine. anyone know if there is a warranty on the thing?
  9. This sounds suspicously like crossed wires or somthing but I can't find it. After some more fiddling I have narrowed some things down first off the rear speakers work perfectly. The problem with the front speakers is that one they are very very staticy (is that a word? lol) and two when I run the test in the sb mixer for front left there is a spzzt sound and the the left speaker says "front right" nothing from the right speaker. to answer your question when I turn the speakers up the static simply gets louder but does not increase signifigantly if at all. 10. I don't know what happened but all of the sudden I am getting obscene amounts of static if the volume is above a wisper. I took my speakers of to see if I could hook them to the tv (how do you do this btw? I have seen them hooked up to a portable dvd player.) and when I put them back on the comp I get horrible static. I checked all the volume software, reinstalled the drivers to my audigy xgamer, and checked all the connections, everything seems to be fine. I've got Win ME and audigy xgamer and a cp-1. Please help. oh and somthing that might help. Since I got the audigy every time I restart my computer the wav/mp3 volume went way up and I had to turn it down or it sounded like it does now. Is it possible that the changes I make aren't taking affect for some reason? This message has been edited by BlacKnight on 12-31-2001 at 05:08 PM
