  1. What is the best option for rear surround between RP-160M or RP-260/280F ?
  2. Definitely don't put them at the top of the wall. Most people go a little above ear level which is the traditional 7 channel surround recommendations, but the new Atmos specs say to put them at the same height as the mains, and no higher than halfway up your wall. It seems that most people are still elevating them a little though. Thank you. I just wondering because even at the store when they have klipsch demo they have the surround speak up on the top of the wall
  3. For Klipsch RP-250S should i mount it to the wall at the ear level or put it the the top on the wall ?
  4. So this is my set up so far Klipsch RP-280FA Klipsch RP-450CA Klipsch R-115SW Denon AVR-X4200W Up coming Klipsch RP-250S
  5. Thx for the reply. I just picked up 4200 today, thinking about it I'm getting it for the future proof so i don't have to get a new one in 3 or 4 years so its good to have HDCP 2.2, DTS: X and other stuff.
  6. Denon x5200W vs x4200W I have a hard time deciding which to get. I can get x5200W cheaper than x4200W, the only problem is that x5200 doesn't support HDCP 2.2 or DTS; X. Should I care much for that ? Which one should I grab?
  7. Its brand new and I don't have to pay for shipping since its from a local store plus there will be no tax.
  8. Im looking for a subwoofer to add to my 280FA system. The choice is between Klipsch R-115SW and SVS PB 2000 . I can get Klipsch R-115SW for 600$ SVS PB 2000 for 799$ I don't know which one to go with. I read some about R115SW doesn't seem like people like it that much.
  9. GC - That's some good components coming your way. I have to the 10ga. version of the spk wire. Just a note: The outer clear jacket is tough to work with, but just take your time to not cut into the inner sleeves. Did you also get the pants/boots? No i didn't get the boots. I probably should but they're already ship it out
  10. I ordered knukonceptz and Audioquest SureGrip #100 hopefully I will be good
  11. Yeah I'm going with monoprice, since the price is almost half of the Knukoncep's.
  12. Should I just go with this then if the tinned copper is not that good http://www.monoprice.com/product?c_id=102&cp_id=10239&cs_id=1023901&p_id=2789&seq=1&format=2
  13. Why are you not a big fan of tin plated?
  14. I'm going to use it with my RP-280-FA set up
  15. I made my decision and I'm going with RP-280FA. Thanks for all the help from you guys. I will post pics on here after i got it set up next weekend.
  16. What kind of speaker wire do you guys use with your speaker ? http://www.amazon.com/Listed-Cable-Matters%C2%AE-Oxygen-Free-Speaker/dp/B00BWSE4NS/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1445237089&sr=8-7&keywords=speaker+copper+wire http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=102&cp_id=10239&cs_id=1023901&p_id=2747&seq=1&format=2&AID=12024643&PID=7112509&ref=cj&utm_source=cj&utm_medium=12024643&utm_term=Skimlinks-2617611 What do you guys think about this ? Any suggestion on what should I get ? Thanks
  17. You don't think that RP-450c is not as good as rc-62ii?what do you think about R-115SW ? the sale man try to convince me to go with SVS for the subwoofer. yes I think the 62ii is better. Read my posts again. I explained exactly why.And as for the 115. It's a good sub but downers on how much you are paying for it. Where ae you located at? Which Svs was he talking you into He told me to get SVS SB-1000 instead.Im in Spokane Washington. how big is your room? I'm sorry but I think your local salesman is full of crap. A little tiny Svs sb-1000 is not going to keep up with a Klípsch rp-280 home theater system in less you have a tiny room. It's just not. I haven't owned the sb-1000 but I have owned it's more powerful bother the sb-12nsd. It was a cool little sub for an office or small bedroom. But in my medium sized 11x17 living room. It reached its limits rather quickly. It is about the size of a medium living room. To be fair he was comparing that to R-110sw .

  19. its only a 100$ more right? Do you really wanna have a nice black veneer and a cheap looking plastic vinyl wrap? Not saying the regular finish is awful but anyone that has owned a vinyl wrapped speaker and a veneer covered speaker will tell you the banner is much nicer. Don't be a cheapskate. You will always regret it in the end. But once cry once lol. You're right
  20. I'm So since RP-450C is the same as RP-450CA should I just go with RP-450C to save some money. I'm going to get RP-280 FA in black anyway so i don't think it will looks different. Please correct me if I'm wrong
  21. This is kinda off topic but when to Dts:X came out how will it work with the Atmos speaker ?
  22. I think I will go with the RP-280FA, more money to spend. To the people that have it already what do you guys think about the Atmos on those?

If I plan to add Atmos speaker(RP-140SA) later on should I go with RP-450CA, would it be that much different in performance with the RP-450CA ?
