  1. Thanks again guys. Now I know what to look out for. There's actually a pair of KG3.2 and a KG2.2v locally, the guy is asking $175 for all three. Would the 3.2 make good rear speakers?
  2. good to hear. I figured I'd use them as 2 channel for now while I gather the rest of the speakers for HT. Looking for a matching center channel now.
  3. This is great news! thank you both, I can't wait to try them out when I get home.
  4. Hi everyone. First post here. I just bought a pair of KG5.5 in good condition. They have been in storage the past few years and the guy no longer had any audio equipment in his apartment so I couldn't listen to them before I bought them. they were cheap enough so I took the chance and bought them. when I got them home the first thing I did was check resistance with an ohm meter (I forgot to bring it with me when I looked at them) and each speaker is only 3.9 ohms total at the connectors in the back. I took the drivers out and all 4 woofers and tweeters read 7.8-8.1 ohms each. I'm guessing there may be something wrong with the crossover then. I found the crossover schematic here but I have no idea what to check. I don't want to hook them up since the resistance is so low on them. any advice? Thanks in advance.
