  1. quote: LOL... pleeeeeease don't tell me you're going to use them with a 2.1 only sound card... pleaaaaase????? I believe the Santa Cruz is 4.1? If not.. well that was a waste of money for two speakers you can't use ya i figured it out i just need to d/l the drivers again... and then with the help of talon getting it setup for the 4.1 system! THANKS TALON!!
  2. thanks talon!! At first I didn't see the little the bar but I just needed to restart! Then it thought I had 2 speakers and so I reset it to 4 and then restarted and now there working!
  3. How do I adjust the front back balance?
  4. OK I bought my Promedia 4.1's from CompUSA yesterday. I plugged them in just as the instruction manual said for a 4 channel sound card(its a Santa Cruz). After turning on my computer and anxious to test them out I started to play some Pink Floyd, I walked around to see if all the speakers sounded good the 2 front ones sounded great. The 2 back ones didn't work at all instead a slight hiss which you have to put your ear to to hear. I reinstalled the drivers with the latest ones and still back ones didn't work. So then I plugged the purple cord to where the green one was and the back ones worked but no front ones.. this is really pissing me off. Anyway I was looking for anytips... I'm thinking that tomorrow I'm gonna go to RadioShack and buy the Y-adapter and the cord to hook up my speakers to my dvd player. Any help on this problem is very welcome. All the connections are in tight and nothing is loose. This message has been edited by JohnAcres on 01-20-2002 at 06:09 PM
  5. I got my 4.1's today... at CompUSA... So far so good except I think the back speakers aren't working casue I don't have the 4.1 sound card. I have the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz... the card is about a year old. So far I love the way they sound.
