Running without sub for now. With test tones they start to fall off below 40hz and nothing much under 30hz though at 20hz I could feel the passive moving a little bit.

I put the sub back in for sub 60hz bass

I'll hook up my old Infinity BU-2 sub tonight

I may put my sub back in the system, was hoping to not need it.

I wonder how many sets were made?

Picked these up from https://paducahhometheater.com/ at a great discount. About $3500 to my door. So far, the sound has impressed me. I do like the metal grill as that makes them cat proof.

https://paducahhometheater.com/ has a better deal: $3300 shipped + taxes if they have any left. Mine just arrived yesterday.

Just picked up a sweet pair if KG 3.2's in mint condition. Black oak finish. Look about 9/10.
Powering them with my 150wpc Sony STR-GX10ES receiver.
Sound pretty darn good! I've going to get some 4" computer monitor stands to get them off the floor. That horn sure is detailed and crisp, but not shrill.
Was running Wharfedale Diamond 10.2's which are lush and smooth. Wanted to try something different and more in the same era as my Sony.

maybe add more polyfil to cab?

I may play with stuffing the ports on the back.

Would you say the mesh grills affect the sound or not?

Any opinions on these? I like them except I'm hearing a little boomy mid bass. I have them 17" from back wall and 3 ft from sides and on 24" Pangea stands

Picked up a pair of oak KG 2.2's last week. really like the sound of these. Powering with Arcam A65+ integrated.
