  3. Forgot to add that I saved 400-750 bucks depending on which speaker I would have bought...what,a waste that would have been and that's how I was able to afford my new beautiful sony xbr 7540d tv. Well maybe I didn't save ebough to buy this tv but the wifey doesn't know what I paid. So don't tell her.
  4. First post here and first set of klipsch speakers. This set up is for 99% HT. Just wanted to share with yall that I was never really was a big fan of the Klipsch sound over the years. My last set up were some paradigm phantom towers and center. Last week I went and auditioned the revel and paradigm at a local family owned store. While I was there the sales guy told me for HT I should listen to Klipsch. I said no and left. Lol. Well went back and listened and was pleasantly surprised. For music I thought the klipshe were a little behind but not far behind the before mentioned speakers but for HT they were absolutely fun and lively....so for the money and my application was it worth all the extra money for the paradigm and revel...not even close. Ended up bringing home a pair of rp-260f...rp250c..pair of 240s. Oh and I liked the audition so much I bought the demo yamaha rxa 1050 that all these speakers were hooked up with. The past few days we have been playing with HT and decided to listen to some Frank and Bocelli. We were amazed how great everything sounds. The highs were crystal clear with no fatigue and the mids were detailed and enjoyable. Actually sounds better in my very large living room than at the store with no eq manipulation. I just haven't had time to play with the eq besides crossing them at 80hz. I did keep the old paradigm pdr12 from my old system. Any who just wanted to share my thoughts and say sorry it's taken me so long to come over to the dark side. I'm absolutely loving this set up for HT and even more so for music. Added pic below
