That's correct. I max out the volume. All the other sources is fine, it's even loud enough when I connect my phone through the line input with converter. Yes it's set to phono. Do you have any tips on how to make it play louder? Would it help to buy an new cartridge or turntable? Hi! I just bought a pair of Klipsch R-15PM active speakers. They sound really good but when I'm using my turntable through the speakers is the volume about 50% of the volume that I get if I use my phone with Bluetooth or my Mac through the USB port. I've tried using an external pre-amp as well, it was a cheap one but i don't know if that matters. Do you guys know if this is normal?
