I know, I like seeing ballpark prices, too, I just wasn't sure what to put. There's someone on ebay selling them for $250 each. These will need some paint, but sound great. Does 150 each sound reasonable? These are white.

Looking to sell a pair of RS-7s. Had a 5.1 RF-7/RC-7/RS-7 system that sounded incredible, powerful, dynamic and generally beautifully-sounding, but will be changing it to Dolby Atmos or maybe Auro-3D system at some point. So will be replacing the RS-7 surrounds with direct firing speakers. The RS-7s are big, excellent sounding surrounds and these certainly sound great. However, there is a cosmetic defect - instead of paint, the tops and bottoms seem to be surrounded by a vinyl sheet, and that has come off on the bottom of one (and of course I lost it, along with the grills at some point - love showing the copper!). I was thinking of removing the vinyl on both speakers and just painting them there, would should be a very easy task as it's only tops and bottoms. And I'd recommend that, since the vinyl is getting loose on the other sides. But since I'm changing speakers types, I'll let whoever buys them paint them as they wish and accept offers for the speakers as is. These are big and heavy, so local pickup in Southern California would be best. But I'd be willing to ship if someone is willing to pay the actual shipping costs.

Haven't gotten any response (except from someone who thought it was $629 for two Belle speakers, not one). Any tips? Is my price too high?

Hi all, Serious financial issues forcing sale of a single Belle Klipsch speaker. Sweet sound, but it's a cosmetic fixer up. Needs new fabric (previous owner's cat got to both sides of the bass area), the staining has worn in places, and the top board needs better tightening. I had planned to get it fixed up, but didn't get around to it, and it's been in storage for quite a while until I pulled it out a couple of weeks ago. Dave, I have absolutely no doubt that you are right. First time I really listened to these (last week), I almost cried they sounded so good. And I've had a lot of Klipsch speakers (still have quite a few). But this one did me in. The more amazing thing? I didn't even have them in the corners, as I have no good corners. So they had no right to sound that good. But the smoothness, the dynamics, the range, the emotion - all was there. I've never heard anything better, and I'm sure if I ever hear a set when placed in actual corners as they need to be, I will cry like a baby. But my car - ehh, take or leave it. Unfortunately, it's quite a few years old so these speakers are probably worth more!! You can bet that if my situation improves later on, and I remodel for a corner perfect room, I will be buying another pair then! I just need to be patient (not my greatest strength).

Pair of Klipschorns in excellent shape for $3499. Believe they are from 1982, but were wrapped and in storage for 16 years. They look and sound great. One small nick on the side of one speaker. I bought them about 16 years ago with the hope of one day building a perfect room for them. They have been in storage since, and unemployment has forced me to pull them out and put them up for sale.
