  1. I know that we have talked about humming before but this is a new type of problem. I fixed the humming the first time with the cheater and now it is back. I just added my computer to the DD (before it was just my dvd player and cable). My computer is in anoter room so I ran 30ft of high quality cable to it. Now it hums when I switch to the computer input. It is different than the general humming that most have in the fact that it only happens when I switch to that input as opposed to all the time. Does anyone know how to fix this problem. Thanks guys!
  2. Do you know when this post was made? I am having trouble finding it.
  3. I have a DD 5.1 and a Promedia 5.1 system. I use them for my home theater setup in my apartment. Well I hooked the DVD player up optically and it sounds great. The problem is when I try and connect an A/V input from my digital cable box to the DD 5.1. As soon as I plug it in it makes a low frequency humming noise. It makes this noise no matter what input the DD 5.1 is on. I have tried buying expensive shielded cables and moving the DD away from everything. I have also tried turning the gain down on the cable box and it still does not help. Does anyone have any suggestions on what this is and how I can fix it? Thanks.
