Tried that, cleaned thm, no help.. opening the old controll box and cleaning it would give a fix for about 30 mins, then the crackling comes back. opening the new one and cleaning it(even though i just got it) does nothing and i still get crackling.

Well, i am tired of my speakers. I have had problems of speakers crackling(not the speakers fault, but the wires from the controll pod). I even payed $50 to get a new controll pod, and so far the only benefit i got from that $50 is a headphone jack that i don't even use. Since i have had this problem through 2 pods, i'm thinking it might be the subwoofer that is messed up. I can't stand the crackling and popping anymore, my $350 investment is sitting in the box on the floor being replaced by a $20 pair of wal-mart headphones.

what is this for? what is a good setting for it? thanks.
