Is it worth replacing the amp plate in that case? How much does the replacement amp cost?

The R112SW was in use with a Denon AVR X3200W receiver and suddenly it made a fluttering sound for a few seconds and then shutdown. Now if the power is disconnected and reconnected, the power LED turns on for 2-3 seconds and the sub make a fluttering sound. Then it shuts down (LED turns off) Any suggestions on what could be the issue? Contacted Klipsch Support via email and its been over 2 weeks with no response from them.

I am in the San Francisco Bay area. I can get the Sub-12 for 198/- and the R12SW for 225/- The Sub-12 is discontinued and is a 2004 model. The R12SW probably is about to be discontinued since Klipsch is offerring a discount and is a 2014 model. What the difference in the BASH amp and the Digital Amp?

I am trying to decide between a Klipsch Sub-12 and a R12SW. Any suggestions? The Sub-12 is higher in power and has a slightly better freq range compared to the R12SW. However, the R12SW is a newer model with new technology.
