  1. Hey Andy! Thanks again for the info, I thought that what I had on hand were oilers, what piqued my curiosity was that I was stuck by how similar they are in construction to the Vitamin Q series. The poly film and foil caps I replaced them with did do the trick at the time, since then my system has evolved and now I'm starting to think of putting them back in place (for grins, if nothing else!). Thanks again bro! Rick
  2. Hello all! Several years ago I pulled the caps that were in my Khorns and replaced them with some from MIT (done in an effort to increase detail resolution when partnered with lower resolving equipment, I've since built better equipment...). I had filed these caps away for years and recently rediscovered them when reorganizing my workbench, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they are oil caps, or whatever. They have the following markings on them: Sprague 14.0 - 150 DO 121P14601R5S2 So, what I DO know is that they were mfgrd by Sprague and are14uF. I assume that the 150 in the second line is the AC working voltage? The last number is a Sprague part number, but I don't see it in a vintage Sprague capacitor catalog that I have on hand, and a search on the company's website haven't yielded any good info. What do I have guys? TIA Rick
