I recently upgraded my circa-1965 Klipschorns a second time, removing the AK5 upgrade kit installed about five years ago (and still performing perfectly) and installing Volti Audio upgrade kits. So I am selling the AK5 crossovers, midrange horn with AK5 drivers, and AK5 tweeters. IMHO, the AK5 upgrade is a big improvement over anything prior to the AK4. The Klipsch package includes the crossovers installed on new woofer doors. I reused my doors, but I will include two brand new doors I had built before I decided to used the old doors for convenience.. So the buyer would need to mount the crossovers on the doors or inside the upper cabinet. I understand that Klipsch sells these kits for about $750 per speaker, or about $1500 total. I will take $750 for the pair of kits picked up from me in Joplin, MO or $800 including shipping anywhere in the US.
