  1. Thanks I should be ok I can't wait to get it all set up I'm hoping it's gonna be a big difference in sound quality by going to the 280s and a 450c as a front stage. Iv never listened to any of them just liked all the reviews iv read so I thought why not give it a try lol.

  2. So I upgraded my home theater system I upgraded from a denon 2400h with 2 r-26f towers with a r-25c center channel and r-15m and 2 rp-140sa and r-12sw. I upgraded to a denon 4500h with 2 rp-280f and a rp-450c my question Is can I use my r-26f towers as rear surrounds with my rp-280f as my front stage? Since I all ready have them. But don't know how it will sound with mixing reference with reference premier lines. Any input would be great thanks I should have all my speakers by Friday.

  3. But in the test tones dont you set all you db levels at default 0 then turn your volume up to a certian point then adjust your db level till your meter hits 75db i just need to know where do i start with the volume level.

  4. I have a denon avr x2400h and i wanna calibrate my speakers can some one kinda walk me threw it iv never done used a spl meter iv always done it by ear or auto calibrate. I have a radio shack analog sound lever meter. I wanna set my speakers to 75db but where do i start my main volume level at befor i adjust my dbs? Bc my volume level is adjustable its not a set level. Thanks.

  5. Davis on the denon 2400 there is a setting you can set for hight or celling or upward firing for atmos. i get sound just not what i was expecting i guess to me for the money it wasnt worth it so far but im gonna play around with it im gonna do a recalibration on it and see it that helps .

  6. Yeah i guess i was looking for more bang for my buck ill try a re calibration and see if it makes a change. I watched hacksaw ridge and not much movie content played threw the atmos speakers and at a low volume. I turned up the db a few just to get move volume threw them

  7. I ran the calibration when i first got my denon i was just running 5.1 my rp140sa just came today i hooked them up and manualy set them to 80 hz and celling distance and watched a movie i didnt re run my calibration. Bc befor when i did my calibration i wasnt happy so i went back in and tweeked with the settings.

  8. Yes i ran multi channel and sound comes out from all the reviews iv read people are amazed with them and the sound and im like over here not impressed. Now i didnt re run my audyssey i just manualy set the settings would that change anything?

  9. I just got my klipsch rp140sa got them hooked up to a denon 2400h in a 5.1.2 setup  and watched a movie with atmos and not much sound comes out of them.
