I was interested in using the SS-1 as a main speaker because the Klipsch literature states it can produce pinpoint effects as well as amgient sound. Also I need to be able to place the speakers on their sides and the SS-1s are oriented that way. Thanks for the help.

I am upgrading from some 20 year old Infinity speakers, but need to do it in increments. I plan to buy KSW-12. Can I use the SS-1 as main speakers?
